The Indian tent offers less loud but rather interesting programs.
• Szabolcs Tóth: Introduction to the Indian music – with sitar show, with several tales and legends from the history of humanity’s oldest, continuous musical tradition.
The series of workshop is recommended to those who would like to have a better understanding of Indian melodies (raga) or the Indian rhythms (tala) or just would like to count until 16 on one hand.
• Akash Bhatt Indian tabla player is also a frequenter of Babel Sound. This year he comes to show us the Indian rhythms, to hold tabla workshops and to jam with other musicians.
• Dr. Shama Rahman sitar player, singer, songwriter and composer, actress and the doctor of neuroscience the researcher of musical creativity. She’ll explain us the use of sitar, the traditional instrument in the modern/pop music. And she will tell us a lot of other interesting things about bits of music science and having fun.
• Gastronomy: one of the most ancient and famous cuisine is scheduled in Babel Sound this year also. Culinary suprises!
